Fought And Died

Three main wars have been fought and finished. And now another one has started. We are sending young Canadians to Afghanistan to fight the Taliban. Our country is the peacekeeper With no wars involving Canada. We are free to help other countries. So now again, we are involved and are helping Afghanistan. We are rebuilding their roads, building schools and hospitals. We are training their people to become police officers and soldiers. I believe that we shoul be their helping their country and their peolple. I hope that by the time our men leave the Taliban will be defeated.

In World War 1 we fought Germany . We fought them again in World War 2 with Adolf Hitler as their leader. He Named himself Dictator And tried to take over the world. He tortured Jews and many others sending then to concetration camps. People were taken away from their familys and friends to never been seen again. Hitler commited suicide and the Germans lost. People were set free but would never forget the horror of the concentration camps.

The 2 World Wars were over but more wars were to come. The Korean war came next. It started when North Korea invaded South Korea. On Remembrance day we are remembering those soldiers that fought and died. They died for us, our freedom and our country. We shall remember them.
